Hi I came to the Ukraine thinking the Lord wanted me to help with starting a Christian Radio-station. This radio station is slow in coming to be, so I helped out where ever I was needed. Tannie Jossie started a fellowship in Plavni. She had to leave for South Africa, and I stood in for her. That, as it turned out, was the actual reason I had to be in the Ukraine, for this year. Thinking back on the year, so many things happened. There were many ups and even more downs, but at the end of it all... I know, I was where the Lord wanted me to be! Thank you for your part in this!Thank you for your prayer, encouraging e-mails and financial support! During the week I was looking for a nut in the bazaar... Wow, what an experience! The nut (the one that goes with a bolt) was a very specific nut. It had to be big on the inside... and small on the outside... and to top it all. It had to have a specific thread. This was practically impossible! Everyone said so! Well, as always, our miracle working God provided. The nut on the outside looked like any other nut, but the whole thing was about the thread on the inside! It is a special nut! It has a special place to go, and there is no other nut that will work in its place! Now, I've got good news for you!The Lord needs a special nut for a special job!And what's even better is that "YOU ARE THAT NUT!" The Lord has placed certain things in you for a specific purpose! The things you went through, the things that cut and hurt you, those are the things that cut the thread into you that will make you perfect for the job the Lord wants you to do. No, He didn't hurt you, but he used the things that hurt you so much, to shape you. In Romans 8:28 it says that the Lord causes everything to work together for the good of those who love Him and who are called according to His purpose. The last part "according to His purpose" says to me there is something more to come... He has a purpose with/for you.He has a "job"! and like I said... You're the "nut" for the job! The Lord asked Isaiah "Who will go for us?"and he answered "Here am I, send me!" Will you go for the Lord? We will soon be back in South Africa... 10 Nov. So, please keep us in your prayers. Hi, We are on our way back to SA, but before we do that I have to say Thank You. Thank you to everyone who sms-ed, e-mailed and prayed for us. It was good to know that there are friends and family in SA who cares. A lady's age is a normally a sensitive issue, so, let us say, I am past the "Naughty 40's" well into the "Nifty 50's" and practising to be in the "Brille en Pille" group. So, I asked Dr. Helmie to supply me with the necessary tablets for my 6 months in Plavni, and now I am ready for the Brille en Pille. Thank you very much, Helmie! May God bless you with His love.
